^^^^^^  it really was Walshy.  i was thinking during the techno sytle jam, "SO FAR this is better than the puppethouse buquebus."  once the final jam was beginning, i knew it was better.  the last jam out of the eat your breakfast part had to be 10 minutes........it was so intense people were going crazy.  i even went to ellis and dobz during the final jam and told them.  i guess you\'ll just have to listen to it, but i thought it blew puppethouse\'s away AND i was not even faced this time.

Now I know you are lying!!!  ;)  WOW!  I gotta hear this then, it sounds like the style of jam that I love in Buquebus...totally leaving the theme building trance to a peak and then exploding back into the Last verse/chant of \'Queeb.  The first one I really remember doing that was the 12/16/04 Cafe9 version.

TEAM \'QUEEB FO\' LIFE!!!

Do tell about this "Frat Show" that you let slip earlier.  Is everyone welcome or do we gotta keep it small.

it\'s welcome to everyone.  they are gonna let the band play as long as they want, literally.  could be all night.  tickets are $15 and i\'m pretty sure its something you\'re not going to want to miss.

these burlington kids are creamin their pants about this show and couldn\'t believe the band was in their frat the other night.

My thoughts exactly. For a band that seemed to have fought hard to distinguish themselves from Phish(due to unfair comparisons) and w/ such a large portion of their vocal fanbase dissing other bands that "sound" like Phish I just find this kinda funny is all.

i don\'t really see it as funny.  pb used to be criticized in burlington by people saying " don\'t **** with our phish"  now they are getting begged to play gigs there and they have a much larger vt. fan base than i expected.  people out there know the breakfast\'s potential besides us.  that\'s really nice to know

Bigger fanbase than expected? Come On guy. No Phish for sure=what else is there?
So I figure The Breakfast should play to PACKED houses when they go up there. As far as being begged to play there. I know if I was in college there I would of course want a band like The Breakfast as often as possible along w/ ANY other decent band. Hell it\'s College!
The thing is do they play to packed houses that are not college parties? I can see the idea of gaining new phans in the area but to play frat parties @ UVM is strictly a $$ thing to me which is fine. Phish did it and it worked for them.
As far as other people knowing The Breakfast\'s potential believe me thousands of people know their potential nationwide. I think they need to do something else Phish did. Ummm TOUR?

oh and btw Thread officially \'jacked.
