Mrs. Dick: Of course D5 hasn\'t done anything for you for the last few months, because they haven\'t PLAYED it for the last few months!

I count when I listen to downloads, since I dont usually get out to too many shows.
Well Ron described the last few times playing it as "train wrecks" so they may not have been great. They nailed it this show!

i think the last time they played it, or at least the last time i heard it live before porter\'s was in rochester, NY on 5-26-05.  ron completely missed on of his verses, and tpalms had to sing the very end of it because fos some reason ron wasn\'t there.   i would consider that a train wreck version, but porter\'s was hoooooooooot

Has anyone listened to this show yet?

Just got done with the Gladys > 2001, pretty sick.

2001 was shorter then I remembered it.

indeed.

I always thin songs are longer then they actually are, perhaps I was put into a time warp during this song.

hearing that song makes me feel like Dave Bowman at the end of 2001 A Space Odessey.

d5 is just weird for me. When I first heard it it was just *meh*, nothing special. Then I watched them work on it in the studio and I really liked it. Since spring though, its been slipping into the relm of the skip button again. Its just an odd song. It sounds kinda punk at first, but then gets poppy. I just never could wrap my head around it I guess. On the flip, I love the lyrics. The music is just too far off my tastes lately.

I think the ending has the potential to be one of the best jam vehicles ever.

I def. like this tune it took some time to grow on me but it did grow on me.  It\'s got a very Cali kinda feel to it and I tell you they do love it on the Left side.
Leith? agreed?
