Well I would say that perhaps the scenary had a lot to do with it as well. Lots of folks spending time topside to take in the un-real views. I was in awe of the views. We I spent less time at my rig then usual.

The Pat downs were crazy. they went through all of my gear had me take almost everything out. We didnt have any issues  getting thing on really. I had to make a switch becasue I saw they were checking cigarette packs etc but whatever.

I really had a blast. I danced my ass off and I don\'t normally spend a lot fo time up in the crowd like that.

I will agree with Klout that the show wasn\'t like a lot of Breakfast shows. It wasn\'t a dud either. I think a few factors entered in. 1 the band had been on that boat since 5PM, It was hotter than hell, and the really early start.

I found a lot that I enjoyed. I was up jamming to Ron. His bass playing just gets better and better and better. Loose Lucy jammed. Jordans vocals were low but overall I thought dobbs did a great job with the room.

BTW, I think "Closer To Home" was more of a tease than a full cover

i had a great time.....made it through the patdown unscathed. then, after watching security act like dicks upstairs, decided to smoke up the room downstairs just before we pulled in. **** em. you could tell they were pissed but if they had acted reasonably, so would i. the super fly phatty phat wouldn\'t have been necessary. i thought the show was great. i missed a lot of the first set going upstairs but i thought the second set was awesome. my criticisms would be (besides the security dicks) terrible beer selection and there should have been some speakers upstairs to hear the band while looking at the view. otherwise....i had a great night.

Also the name of the song is "I\'m your Captain" not "Closer to Home"  that\'s just the corus.

"I\'m your captain, i\'m your captain,
Although i\'m feeling mighty sick.
Everybody, listen to me,
And return me, my ship."

makes for an apropriate tune for a boat though eh?

Sucks that they were such dicks, customer service is important.  Too bad they couldn\'t use some humor while searching the folks, instead of ticking off the masses.

Any best guesses for attendance numbers (yeah I know, I always ask this question)?

the views were fantastic I\'ll tell you that! Been going to the city my whole life but never seen the big picture in all its majesty like that before! The best view of the skyline I have seen with my own eyes untill then was prolly from the GW. I was blown away by the skyline from the river.  Looking out on it I couldnt even believe that I had been driving around in that crazy mountain range of buildings earlier in the day
