yeah when he told me it was the last pub show, i was real surprised. it was the only time it wasnt super packed cuz people had finals. but i dunno.
i have heard this rumour from other venues too. they boys may be making a business move and trying to gain more recognition. possibly trying to hit the west coast, since it seems to be the hot spot for them. again, this is just speculation...
just a bad time to book a show at the pub. No reason to call it quits on the whole town.
just had a premonition:
They are just letting you know, that after this summer\'s festivals they will no longer be able to play such small venues. Look at it as a good thing! Look for them at your nearest theater.
not likely they will be playing the palace, my nearest theater anytime soon. They are my favorite band now that rezi is broken up

but thier following is no where near that strong yet. I WOULD love to see a PB weekend headliner at Rev hall though. That would be a great next step...but still please dont cut oneonta out alltogether!
...but still please dont cut oneonta out alltogether!
Definitely.
My impression is that there seems to a reasonably strong fan base in Oneonta. I can think of quite a few fans from this site alone (Klout, Spunk, Reginaaaa, GoldnRd etc.), whereas I can\'t name more than one registered .info member from any other upstate cities.
spohn and ellis are also on .info from time to time. Multiply the number fans on .info times the number of shows in stated city add the number of sick shows in that town minus the number of sleepers plus the number of sick special guest appearances and excessive agressive ninja dancing and drinking = SER breakfast town.
I\'ll get in touch with Tim from the autumn and give him the booking info if a larger, nicer venue is what band is after. I have seen rezi shows there with at least 250 people between the restaurant and the deck and the space in between. The decore is really very nice there too. Would be a great atmosphere for a breakfast show. None of the dingeyness of the pub. There is a huge mural behind the stage which is nice and large but just one step off the ground...slightly enclosed. High ceilings, nice wood floors bar etc...smells good in thier like heady organic food heh and of course the ragin back deck. So yea a show there this summer would be schwizz. I will promote the
**** out of it too of course if it goes down.
see, i thought the autumn wasn\'t that big. i think if they took some of the tables out, itd be better. last time i was there, there were tables like almost right in front of the stage. thought that was lame, cuz there were people sittin n people tryin to dance, just got in the way.
u have to move all the tables against the windows thens it the main dance floor a big area behind that the bar area another small area behind that the inbetween and a full deck i\'d say it can hold 300 jam packed
i\'ve seen nights were there were over 100 on the deck alone
Although I like being able to say thanks for the great show and all that goes with a bar/club band, it can\'t last forever with these guys and I am thankful that I have been able to see them where I have. I can see them getting really big...and we can all tell tales of having seen them in dingy bars, and they will be wearing gold plated diapers!
Autumn show though would be chill and a step up
Now more cowbell dammit!
the autumn doesnt pay more then the door
