here we go:

I: Sleeping Beauty, jam > Superfly Phaddy Fat > Doughboy, Escher\'s Etchings > Puppetry > Vera Street > Puppetry, The Chase, Lady Madonna, Buquebus > Bugs > Drum Solo, The Man In Me

---

great show for only 1.5 hours.. top notch performance, and the sound was incredible.. ric - definitely spotted you in the front.. saw that you knew all the tunes and was wondering if you were an .inforumer (<---hey, i jus made that up.. i like it!).. i made it up there a few times.. i was decked out in my new year\'s shirt & tie..

anyways.. what a fantastic night/morning! there were AT LEAST 200 hypersluts consumed last night.. went to bed at 8:30am, woke up at 11 and talked mike, todd, and al z into going to the diner (SER veteran move!!).. the last person to officially leave the party was mike at 4:30 this afternoon!! :D poor al z just could not get his game together - t-mac\'s and all.. mandler - when did you leave??

anyways... all across the board!

Sound was perfect.

I remember the band jamming particularly hard at the end of Lady Madonna.

Very fun trip to Toad\'s!

Good sized crowd too.  Those Creek fans are **** weirdos!

So much happened at the afterparty so I will start a new thread for recollection of everything that happened.

Great night!!

One of the guys threw out the possibility of playing Jive Talkin while they were putting together the setlist prior to hitting the stage.

That would have been the one thing I wish we got to see live.

Looks like you all had a good night/morning. And what where now are all those doubters who complained about too much of the new stuff being played? Looks like more of a pb than breakfast set.

I cant believe how this band never disappoints me.  Ever not one **** time yet (last night was my 80th breakfast show).  The stage presence that the guys have developed is a hard core "we are coming out to rock the **** schnot out of your faces" type of attitude and it comes off like gangbusters.

I love the sleeping beauty opener.  Great to get the crowd movin and ready.
The jam into Superfly (I just relized that Wah was wearin a superfly tshirt last night) was sick sick sick, and the version last night topped my previous favorite version (Cafe 9 Night One August 04).
Dougboy was tight and had the best Dougboy ending I have ever heard them play.
Eschers ending (my favorite part of that tune) was one of the best jams of the night.
and then a Puppetry>Vera St.>Puppetry.  I am still looking for my face after this musical sandwich ripped it off my head.  Great "cricket jam" by jordan going back into the puppetry.....
The **** Chase.  I still have not processed the lyrics to this song, so it means something different to me every time I hear it.  Just a great tune...
Followed up by my complete numero uno highlight of the evening...Lady Madonna.  All I kept thinking during it was, "These kids are a no **** joke rock and roll outfit".  The music lifted me up up up.
I have the following songs as an Encore for some reason.  I dont know, call it what you will...encore....last 3 tunes of the show.....The Buquebus>Bugs. Drum Solo (first ever on new kit), The Man In Me  was the giant cherry on the beautiful sundae that was my NYE \'04-\'05.

The crowd was electric.  Ric I saw you all night long.  I was the big sweaty guy blowing pot smoke in Timmy and Jordans grill.

Great **** late night gettogether as well.   Peck, kudos on your hosting abilities.  Lost some money at blackjack, but it was worth it to have timmy come up to me, grab pecks acoustic guitar from my feeble hands and bust out Harrisons "Wah Wah" (A tune that I am sure timmy is sick and tired of hearing me shout that he should/the band should play)  I couldn\'t have scripted a better New Years Eve.  You are all wonderful fuckers and I love ya.....
Heres to 2005 baby!
Gencs

There was definately some Timmy banter right before Man In Me....
