during the day at work i decided to throw in new years toads cd that was so graciously burned for me. it really is a good sounding show...and when relistening you can pick up on things that u forgot or were new and unfamiliar. As far as forgetting, there was a lot, but there are tons of highlights and the drum solo is one of them. Like i think Wolf said, this drum solo was deffinatley cool..started with some toms than into the cymbals..kind of an organized drum solo that just gets nuttier. the new tunes are cool..my faveorite is Madness, but vera st. sounds real good too..anybody else been jammin to this night of Madness?
Madness is actually Inner Glimpse... this according to tim.. though the rest of the band seems to hate it (the name)...
I have also been listening to the NYE show... which sounds great... Thanks for taking the time to put it out there ChrisF!
i know this is more of a score post, but does anyone think they could hook me up w/ nye? i would download it but i dont know how the bittorrent thing works out and my comp. is already pretty much out of memory. i would hit you back (somehow?). Thanks.
sweet. hopefully i will be able to download what i need and get that show. thanks man.
you can also grab this from archive.org
guaranteed good d/l rate

I believe it was Justin Maturo, who also wrote the lyrics to Eschers Etchings...
Nope, Kevin Ross. Just thought of it this last week, and happended to be in here.
gotta love thread subscription....ser
wow, wasnt aware Rossie ever wrote any songs with them, I remember him reading some poetry a few times between sets though. . .
dont want to second guess, but i was thinkin Chris Moniello had something to do with the tune as well...
i think it was maturo and moniello, but who knows
I remeber ross telling me the story of them writting it, so he was
a) there and it happened that way
b) drunk and a lier
you choose
I\'ll guess a little bit of both, heh. I\'ll ask him when I go to Margaritas tonight before the show, if he\'s workin.
