I really hate talking **** about my favorite band but ever since I first heard this song right after a SICK Rufus in Cambridge.. I was like WTF is this?? To be quite frank, it was a buzzkill.

it\'s not talking ****...it\'s a critique...don\'t feel bad about it.  if we all liked the same stuff things would get boring really fast, believe me.

future peek, on the other hand, should be played to open all first and second sets.

tehnically they don\'t play the whole song just the "chant" but tit\'s a great tune, I remember they opened with it at 4/20/02 amherst just as the sun was comin out from behind a rain cloud it was great....

yeah that was tight to open 1st set @ southbridge and also tight for 2nd set opener at Stone Church,.. good ****

thanks btw.... I was starting to think I\'m saying too much **** about Tricky Ways. Like there\'s been 3 or 4 threads about it already and I never hesitate to say how much I think it sucks :P

oh I am. Stevies got like 12 licks and 1 tone and 1 style and zero soul

I actually think Tim\'s a much better blues player. And I also don\'t consider what SRV plays to be real blues, because how much blues can you really have right after snarfing up an 8 ball of coke in one line??

Eppy3 @ Iron Horse = better blues playin than I\'ve ever heard from SRV

IMO as a Strat playin guitarist SRV is way over-rated. Second only to "slow hands" Clapton

oh my!!!

I guess I have to vote for LOVE IT! because I don\'t agree with the other choices. I wouldn\'t go so far as to say it\'s in my top 10 Bfast tunes but I AM a lyric person and I connect with the tunes that have "real world" accessible lyrics. Plus, I don\'t see how a blues jam can possibly be bad?????

I just dowloaded all of the new songs in the other poll, and I must say that I love Tricky Ways!  Quite a departure from the typical B\'fast tune, but it\'s a nice change.  Can\'t wait to hear it live.

The trio version of this song from  8/12 Daniel St. was not bad.
I actually tapped my feet a couple of times ;)

This songs shows their true progressive style
it holds a basic blues progression. with blues scales on keys....IMO not bad, but not my breakfast cup of tea

Good song, just listened to the recent Daniel St. version.  I like the Jordan-included versions better, keys jams hit the spot for me.

Your tricky ways
Why do you play them on me?
Your tricky ways
Why do you play them on me?
I?m always good to you woman
But your love brings me misery

When I get close you push me away
I ask you what?s wrong you got nothing to say
Take my money spend it all in a day
I?m telling you woman there?s gonna be hell to pay
For your tricky ways
Why do you play them on me?
I?m always good to you woman
But your love brings me misery

I?m not perfect, I?ve made some mistakes
You gotta work at love you know its give and take
But be true to me woman or an ass you will make outta
Me and then I?m gonna have to take a break
From your tricky ways
Why do you play them on me?
I?m always good to you woman
But your love brings me misery

Now don?t be mean you?re always quick to judge
You think you know it all you never seem to budge
But I ain?t dumb and I will hold a grudge cause I
Put up with your **** long enough and it sucks
Your tricky ways
Why do you play them on me?
I?m always good to you woman
But your love brings me misery

Your tricky ways
Why do you play them on me?
Your tricky ways
Why do you play them on me?
I?m always good to you woman
But your love brings me misery
