I was with Adrian the night this song was inspired.  He was down $1600 and FREAKING OUT!!!!!  In 4 hands he won it all back plus a few hundred...

Sounds like his performance at Crystal Bay.

Huh..

well the lyrics *sound* cool.

Writing a song about the rush of gambling though..... seems like junk subject matter to me. But then again I think gambling and casinos are among of humanity\'s most deprived vices.

I\'m going to go back to thinking "Rush" is some kind of cool **** analog now :D

they have a song with that analog, its called "rust."

This song is WAY better than Synergy. Probably no need for comparison, but I just don\'t get how Synergy picked up so much more props over this tune when they both were debuted around the same time.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

synergy has a more \'classic\' breakfast sound and is a huge jam vehicle.  rush is a harder rock tune that gets jammed out, but nowhere near as expansively as synergy

Synergy\'s jams have been great and they transcend predictability, but the structured song is pretty much unlistenable to me at this point. Rush has both sides firing strong.
