So what are everyone\'s thoughts?  I still haven\'t heard it live obviously, but i just streamed the NYE show and was very impressed.  I think it fits in the same category as Gladys Pimp and Score as those fast as hell Breakfast funk tunes, and I\'m always partial to those.  Anyone else wanna add some 2 cents on the matter?

BTW- had an amazing time in Asheville for NYE.  Missed you all, and hope you raged it extra hard in my absence.  Quick note, a friend from IL, Rachel, gave me this neato magnet w/ a pic of TPalms shredding on it while in Asheville.  just figured I\'d share.   Its friggen SER.

Honey Butter is really nice.   I love the intro and how they play that euphoric (is that a word?) riff throughout the song.  I think the ending is the best in the breakfast catalogue, with the fast drumming into the quick one note ending.  I can\'t wait to hear it at future shows, it\'s bound to be a monster.

I\'m glad you had a good time at moe greg, we defintitly missed you up here.  see you at richters ?

I think a Score> Honey Butter> Score is in order for whenever my next show is.

I need to listen to it still. I\'m in the middle of converting flac files and downloading torrents from like 6 different NYE shows...and some of them don\'t have ID tags (boooooo!)

This weekend for sure, though. Any song named "honey butter" has got to be smooth.

Honeybutter will be played on the Breakfast show on http://www.GDRadio.net on thursday at 9pm EST if you will be around to listen. check it out if you can because this week is going to have a sick playlist and there will be a lot of .infoers and maybe a band member on the show.

agreed... i dont remember the song very well, gotta give it another listen myself, but i *do* remember getting down like it was my job.... i was itchin for a new traditional-style rockin\' breakfast tune, and honeybutter surely fills that void....
and what CAN you do, when your world is invaded by a reggaejunkiejew?!?

Huh. Well I was at the NYE show and heard this song right after Auld Lang Syne.

In all honesty this song was probably the low point of an otherwise kickass night of Breakfast. I just listened to it again on the recording to make sure I didn\'t have a black hole in my memory or anything... and, well, I still didn\'t like it much.

I wouldn\'t compare it to Gladys Pimp at all because that\'s one of my favorite songs :D

.......

But almost every Breakfast song gets better with age. Like, I thought Fresh Cut was mediocre (for Breakfast, of course) until it started kicking ass recently.
