Well, for those who were there, you know Mondo Gecko certainly didn\'t get completely humiliated opening for The Breakfast... in fact I enjoyed their show just as much! I reckon this was their 100th show. I was surprised that they sounded so different from the last time I saw them at Harper\'s Ferry, another Breakfast opening slot. They seem more laid back but also more of a refined sound ... and didn\'t they used to have a 2nd guitar player? Maybe that was another band? hehe

Anyway I tracked it out and tweaked it in Audacity a bit. Was hoping to have The Breakfast\'s show as well but I guess I need to complete my anti-fuckwith-contraption before the next show ;)

So there is a tape of the opening band, but not of The Breakfast?

I believe there was an "official" tape of the band. Not sure if that means you\'ll ever get to hear it or not. Also Ken was there with his cameras, and I believe I saw Gluft with his rig?

My stop button got pressed halfway through the show. And releasing a half-taped show is worse than not having it at all, imo.

On the side of the zoom is a feature called "hold"  it locks-out or freezes all the buttons on the face of the zoom so nobody can accidentally stop or make changes while recording.

This thread should be moved to "Tribal Funk Affliction" since its not the breakfast, a side projects or breakfast members sit-ins.  did a breakfast member sit-in? no set list?

thanks for taping tuna,

Thanks Matt! I shoulda read the manual, probably

Setlist is up under the link, it was 5 songs I think. I think somebody from Mondo Gecko sat in for the encore but I didn\'t catch that. And ahh, was wondering what that other forum was ;)

GLuft3 was not there unfortunately.  But I just fired off an email to Davis to see if he has the recording.
