the matrix has some moments where it sounds fantastic, but others where it just sounds too uneven.

the mic placement is horrific, and while i think the aud came out good, it\'s VERY chatty, and that sucks in the soft parts. i wasn\'t allowed to set up in the middle of the room, so i had to set up by the board in the back left corner. fitzy recorded from high above on the right side.

i dunno.. they both have their ups and downs, imo..

sounds to me like you should put your source on the left channel and fitz\'s on the right channel and then matrix it with the sbd. of course mixing down both sources to mono first is a must

I just did a side by side with squirming coil AUD v. MAtrix and the AUD sounds more natural to my old ears.
