I believe the AUD recording was about .30 milli-seconds off from the board recording. Sorry if you don\'t like the results.. I didn\'t have time to try and make everything perfect, I\'m the soundguy/ archivist for a Milwaukee band full time and have been busy as **** archiving their stuff along with my day job. IMO my AUD sounds better than my MATRIX too. But I haven\'t had time to post it yet. And the reverb is what the soundguy was throwing on the vocals & it was loud as **** on the board mix. There aren\'t any phasing issues either Chris, what you\'re hearing is the .30 millisecond delay. I went out of my way to go down and tape this show, and if you guys are going to nit-pick ticky-tac bullshit i just won\'t bother bringing my rig next time. Or I\'d be more than happy to send both sources to you and you can synch it yourself, because frankly I don\'t have time to **** with it.

:wave: There are many of us who appreciate the fact that you took the time to tape this show... I think people just want the best quality sound they can hear, so if there\'s a delay or something that can be worked a little better, of course they\'ll make a point of posting it! :shrug:

it won\'t be my last post, i\'m just saying i was busy and have other **** to deal with and i\'m not worried if my **** is perfect or not.. like i said i\'d gladly mail the two recordings to anyone who wants to try and synch them up better, i just don\'t have the time, i\'m spread too thin already..

def make sure both get backed up. it would be cool to use them to make a 5.1 mix for jeremy\'s video.

Jeremy\'s getting everything I have for the video. A 5.1 mix would be pretty cool, it\'s too bad he can\'t use the 24 bit 48kHz version for that instead of 16 bit 48kHz on a DVD. I listen to my 24 bit stuff on DVD-A\'s all the time. It sucks you can\'t have the video & 24 bit audio combined. I guess thats why everything is migrating to blu-ray.

It\'s not like its 3 seconds off. It\'s .3 milli-seconds off. I ASSUMED the average person wouldn\'t notice the .3 milli-second delay. Especially since the mp3 generation is used to lossy, shitty quality recordings played on an i-pod. Could it be synched better? Yeah. Did I have time to perfect it? No. Would the Average-Joe even notice synch issues on this recording? I seriously doubt it. And you guys don\'t count as the Average-Joe. You\'re all verging on audiophile status.

trust me i know how to use my gear. the problems with this recording have nothing to do with my gear, it\'s all post editing on the computer. which i didn\'t really have enough time to spend on as i would have liked to.
