The movie is apparently in the h.264/MPEG-4 codec.   Should be out for windows soon (Quicktime version 7).   I got it to play using

:thumbsup:Thanks for figuring that out and posting your solution. I have been screwing around with other codecs for the last couple of days and have not been happy with size/quality ratio. The dvd is looking pretty good. Sadly, the rest of the set I had to shoot from an awkward angle or handheld. It is still very viewable and a lot of fun to watch the skyline cruise by occasionally. I am waiting on some high-quality photos from derickw that I am going to use to cover the tape changes. The first set is pretty much done and I am hoping to put together the second set this weekend.

The camera is a Canon Optura 400. I got it this summer for my birthday.:banana:
