No question that Taboo will win this, but DB is one of the best of the newer tunes. I expect this one to be split between those who followed pb and those who were introduced to the band as The Breakfast. Have gone against type though and voted DB.

tough one. had to ask myself some questions here. bottom line - which song would i rather hear?

doughboy.

also interesting to note with this matchup is that neither of these songs really get \'jammed\'. doughboy sometimes gets an extended solo, and taboo sometimes gets an extended intro. other than that, you\'ll rarely see either of these tunes make it past the 7-minute mark, as both are almost always played \'standard\'. i think that is what will end up hurting either of these tunes in later rounds.

Doughboy just sounds like the Breakfast I want to hear. I like Taboo but Doughboy has a polish on it that Taboo will never have.

love DB, but it just seems like the band gets very excited and into Taboo, especially in the intro.....always gets me all psyched up.

Another classic. Both catchy crowd-pleasers. Two opposite sides of the band, though the seven-minute comparison is right on. I\'ll take Taboo based on the subject matter.

very close here, but i\'d rather hear db any day.  i hear taboot too much.  both are played often, but sometimes i feel TONT should be a slightly less frequent play.
Postcount +1.

Both get played way too much...but that said, Doughboy will get stretched out one day and LEVEL the venue it happens in.  The pause also makes me FREAK OUT!  Taboo\'s title SUX eggs!

The funny thing is Boombox, the voting is going the opposite way of your theory.  There are alot more names that I know from PB days in the DB slot!

The pause is **** sick.  I still think that they should, ON OCCASION, or maybe once only, throw a random second pause in....  Talk about freakin out.
Porters Doughboy was the best I have ever seen/heard.  I felt the second pause comin, but alas...NOT.
