BAR is a pretty weird place. but i guess i say that because the only time i went was when i went with my lesbian friend to gay night. couldnt complain about the 25 cent beers though.

gabo..who really cares if a gay man likes tpalms and the way that he plays? i hope that anyone can appreciate his talent and enjoy a solo show regardless of their sexual orientation.

i guess there was an early version that the band never played live. dave had the old lyrics up on this site for a version of the song that they never played out. they debuted it 5/31/03 at the webster and it was pretty weak. it sounds like tim was the only one who knew the song and the band was just jamming along.

gravity never really did anything for me until they came back from tour at the end of the summer and played it on 8/3 at toads and it was pretty sick. i guess they figured it out on the road. the song has evolved a little since then but it was never re worked or anything, the band just got better and tims vocals improved enough so that he could actually sing it for real.

listen to 5/30/03 and you will probably be laughing pretty hard when you hear how it originally sounded.
