Ha! I just watched the Chef from this place get "Chopped" the other night.

I went there a few years ago, seemed like a typical small plates, small value joint to me.

What do you mean by "a typical small plates, small value joint"?
Like a starting organic company, healthier, but far more expensive than the competition?

I hope to someday own & manage an eatery of some sort so I\'d like to know everything I can to make it primo ;)!

That is my own saying, because most of those "small plates" spots are a ripoff.  Very little food for the high price.

Hope the show was great and makes it to archive.

Is Tim just in for a song or two, or is he part of the main show?
