Mass appeal on campus = the way to go.
At the risk of sounding like Grandpa Simpson, I\'ll tell you back in the 1900\'s (1997-99) my roomates and I paid our rent year round throwing cheesey keggers every Tuesday night. Cheap beer- Natty Ice @ $35 per keg (x5) and dj spinning commercial hip hop for $50 a night. We charged $4 at the door, and cleared about $1500 a month profit.
It was music I didn\'t really like, and beer I found dispicable, but it was for profit, not fun. House residents stayed sober to collect $, cool fights, and make sure no one was yanking our taps. It was a job. But one night a week kept the rent paid and lights on. We even paid broke freshmen to clean up the mess afterwards. Not a bad gig.
Oh yeah, and we never let the masses into our house, always back yard in warm weather, the basement otherwise.
excellent entrepreneurial endeavor.
excellent entrepreneurial endeavor.
Agreed.
See, that\'s the kind of thinking that this great country was founded upon.

Additional fundraising ideas:
-hijack a girl scout troupe, sell cookies

Dibs on the cheapest, easiest college chick with the shortest skirt.
I will follow it with a parental sounding comment since steve thinks there is not enough moderating around here: You can say and do whatever the hell you want to, but stop and think there are over 1000 members on this board and probably only 100 or so that regularly post. Who\'s to say there is not a lurker that has a job as a police officer? I don\'t know that to be true at all, but it\'s certainly plausible...
Just think before you discuss some of these things in an open forum. Why draw unwanted attention to yourself if you don\'t have to? :sigh:
<- my 2cents
so stop quoting child molesters and date rapists, ya big goon!!
are you implying steven gencs is a pedifile rapist?
:wah:
Or worse, that I\'M a date rapist? yikes
But I agree with Paul, a certian amount of discretion is warranted, particularly when you are having tons of people to your HOME and it is being advertised on the internet.
