After walking around for a while in a daze, we caught the last two songs with Danglease - Tim Walsh had some great songs and vocals.  The show was nice, just too short overall (it was only about 20 mins. long!)

Robyn I thought I saw you and Todd up there...

but the fact was I was quite spun around and by the time I did a 360 (probably more like a 1080 backside flip) I\'d lost ya.
Put the pointed pencil in the pepper-po and take a little sniff of the things below. :sadban:

 I think I saw you too at one point in passing, but didn\'t have a chance to say hi :)

Some of the many highlights from the festival:

DBB ( not that weird asian kid @ the beginning, though!)
ZPZ (Cosmic Debris, Peaches, King Kong = siiick!)
Glowstick wars & Jackie Greene during Phil
Cold, free showers with the Bridgeport locals
Monsoon rainstorm making mud puddles EVERYWHERE!

local coverage of the vibes

I hope to see more BFam there next year! (and, of course, I hope the Breakfast PLAYS at gotv next year too!) :awwyeah:

I was on stage for ZPZ. Tim Is WAYYYYY better than Dweezil.

Susan and Derek through it down BIG TIME.

Really liked groovesect I met them backstage on Wednesday night. I helped them put up their tent. The Breakfast should have a manager like these guys. Kid was maybe 20 or so, but gets serious gigs from a semi unknown band. They are playing Friday night at Sullivan Hall in NYC if anyone is looking for something to do. heavy Jazz/funk a la Galactic.

Ryan Montbleau band sets was killer and long because PBS was late as Hell.

The Neville brothers were really great.

The Organically Grown Gospel Choir was really really good.

No Question about it.

I called my friend Kyle and said the same. He wasn\'t surprised at all. He has seen Frank play live and says without question Tim Palmieri is top 5 guitarist he has seen all time.

Was that the kid who opened the DBB set ?

I saw Steve Bernstein at vibes and he had 2 beautiful Japanese women with him. They were back stage. We stored some gear for them. I wonder if he was one of their kids
