Are any of the area hotels recomend? Hilton, hyatt, it looks like a "comfort suite"...and some seemy-sketchy motels?

Also, can one take Amtrak to new haven, then jump on the "local" (metro) south to milford?

I have stayed in both the Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn in Milford.  Both I think are pretty similarly priced, but the Hampton Inn is definitely nicer.

was just thinking about this today... i\'ve rocked the super 8, i think it was, which was perfect for partying, not so much for sleeping.

Do you think there will be more partying or sleeping after the freakout?

the hilton has "suites" for a reasonable price...

all about the suhweeeets!

I\'m not gonna worry about a few bucks either way, if it\'s the last show in a while, let\'s do it up right. I\'m not worried about trying to catch any sleep for this one.
Put the pointed pencil in the pepper-po and take a little sniff of the things below. :sadban:

Why $15 tickets?  That\'s ridiculous, I\'ll spend more on gas getting there.  Make the tickets $25 and nobody\'s gonna complain.  Or plan ahead for selling dvds of the show, maybe at the show someone could take preorders of the show that would be mailed out the week after the show.  I\'d gladly pay $25 for a quality dvd of the show, especially that night.
Damn that maine weeed got me ramblin\' :D

If this is going to be the last show for a while and no theme has been decided upon yet I say get back to the roots of the Freak Out! and leave it all on the stage. There have been plenty of Zappa songs played over the years so why not showcase your talents and crank out a second set full of Zappa. The only one that hasn\'t been played before is Apostrophe. Haven\'t been to a CT show since Ron\'s farewell at Toad\'s. Hopefully I can work this one into the schedule.

I: The Chase, What The Funk > Rufus, Frankly Po Zest, Episode 3 (Awakening)

II: Willie The Pimp > Peaches En Regalia, King Kong, I\'m The Slime > Echidnas Arf (Of You), Apostrophe > Flower Punk > Inca Roads

III: jam > Sundance > Rush, Food For Thought, The Grand Scheme Of Things

E: Living Daylights > One Big Mob
