wish i had seen this before i left work...ended up getting to new haven around 10:15...saw that there was about a 30 minute wait to get in (!)...sat in line for about 5 minutes and decided to head home
same here. didnt see you though. tim was taking a setbreak when i was there. it seemed early for a setbreak. it was so crazy there that i didnt really even want to go inside so i took off.

Wow. It\'s surprising when you hear it, but not when you think about it. Tim ripping up BAR on homecoming night with friends all around and great drinks vs. a DBB reunion at Toad\'s where they\'re just trying to get through solid versions of tunes without forgetting them, overpriced drinks and you don\'t know anybody. Nostalgia Factor is the only edge DBB had. BAR had the better friends, music, drinks, and atmosphere. I wasn\'t at either show, but looking at it on paper you easily made the right call.

yes, but, not with the place packed to the brim, and the bfam all scrunched together in the front corner singin and dancin like nobody\'s watching....that kind of energy summons a really great BAR show (as opposed to being uncomfortably shuffled around those cumbersome tables in a half full room)....

honestly....if i was in town, i was goin to toads. i love you all and i am amongst the most loyal wednesday nighters (work thursday or not
) i just love that band and would really liked to have seen them.
btw.....they will be at the paradise on 12/13 and the bowery ballroom on 12/14 & 12/15. i hope to go to nyc for one of those.
