Wilco\'s "handshake drugs" and "a shot in the arm" were played last night. Two of my fav wilco songs. Tim rocked them. Glad to hear these in the rotation.

Four **** Wilco songs now?  I\'d shoot myself if I had to bear that.

he doesn\'t play all of them in a row.   and i think he\'s actual up to six now.

he always had shake it off, kamera, jesus etc, and poor places in the rotation before the two new ones.

Have you ever given wilco a fair shot??

the three times i have seen them = definitely not depressing.  every time i\'ve seen them, different feel to the show.

first time at tanglewood in ma,  it was laid back.  and just chill. absolutely phenomenal for atmosphere and vibe.  it was a beautiful summer evening.  music just got inside you.   if you were there, and just toked, you would have been relaxed beyond words.

second time, lelacheur baseball field in lowell,ma - it was literally a ruckus rock concert in the middle of a minor league baseball field.  completely up.  and just energy flowing.  even got rained out.   one of the most memorable times in my life where the weather played into the music.  crowd was stomping on the bleachers during spiders and it started to pour.

third time, last year at bushnell, felt so intimate.  they played such a wide variety. a lot of old tunes i had never heard live before.   some are very upbeat.  just felt like you were hanging out with them though.

i don\'t know.  i am blinded cause i love them so damn much. but maybe it was just the show you were at.

maybe.  it was a festival and they were playing at the same time as MMW and Flogging Molly, so I spent more time at the other 2 bands.  but still, dude needs to cheer up already.

diff\'rent strokes. sometimes "depressing" music is just what i need.

you enjoy radiohead? pink floyd? i know they\'re not the same vein as wilco, but they tend not to be very upbeat

not really a radiohead fan.  floyd of course, they\'re dark and sinister not depressing and sad.

back to timmy tour talk, since duane thinks we\'re all a bunch of lightweights now.  i\'m visualizing a Great Woods> Darien Lake> Anna Liffey\'s> Camden run just to quiet him down.
