Back to the Bang....

Pitchy...top notch job on the setlist/review.....

The Big Bang II was yet another amazing animal sideproject.  It owned the first one in every way with the exception of a lighter crowd.  Adrian had his main drumset center stage and all the other implements of distruction were around him forming a circle of drum fury....the only other part of the set up was the dige and djembe setup off to the right.

Adrian said the Big Bang III wont be untill sometime in November.  The Drum and Guitar project with Adrian and Tim is set for a thursday in early September.  The name is a play on the Drum and Bass category of music and promises to give birth to some fresh original music from TPalms and the Animal.  There was most definitely a sneak preview of that in Pec\'s basement on saturday night with Adrian on drums and Tpalms on acoustic guitar (part of a spontanious set of music which included Dustin of RJ AllStars, DPec, TPalms, Adrian, Sean Miller and included such tunes as David Bowe and an all out Stairway to Heaven).

My point:  I was talking with Adrian about trying to get the Drum and Guitar project on a Wednesday night or maybe trying to get TPalms to take a Wednesday night off for the Drum and Guitar to follow on Thursday.  The argument I got all day from Adrian and Tim is that they need to play as often as they can to make money.  I completely understand that, but wonder if flooding the week with shows would actually hurt the project and money able to be made for the guys.

Just look at the attendance of the Big Bang II last week.  Timmy Tour on Wednesday and the late night to follow took out at least 10 people from making it on Thursday.

Any thoughts?
