The current Cheetos ads teach bad values Posted byleithon 08 Jun, 2008 02:07
At least I think so. The Cheeto Cheetah encourages people to damage others personal property or invade their personal space over minute inconveniences. It\'s actually pretty horrible if you think about it.
...well, and so do 100 different women\'s magazines and all of the ads within them, and so do lots of pop songs and most music videos and some video games and many politicians and some companies...
So what\'s the big deal with one Cheetos commercial putting out bad values? The next thread after this should be, "Cars pollute the air".
I think the Cheetos commercials are made in good fun. The only bad values it teachers is to have some fun with Cheetos and use them in prank jokes against rude/annoying people. If you think about it, Cheetos may actually help in the fight against obesity.
"Don\'t eat \'em, instead, use them in other ways!"
I try not to take any life lessons from Chester Cheetah.
for that I go to the Trix Rabbit, the Hamburglar, and that Noid guy.
yo noid ? without a doubt. if not got no idea what your talking about. that commercial is all about some woman being a ser **** and the cheetah sent her some bad karma which she deserved.
Those of you that think the commercials are benign totally forget how gullible children are to what is on TV.
Damaging someone\'s laptop or clothing is vandalism and may be funny to someone with a fully developed sense of right or wrong but it\'s still vandalism. Anyway at least this thread got some interesting responses. Thanx
