I forget who said it first (maybe my friend charlie), but "screw that, where\'s the thundercats?"

Always preferred Voltron over The Transformers, despite the predictable show formula (he always got his butt kicked a little bit, but when the sword came out, that\'s all she wrote!).
I read in entertainment weekly that Thundercats is already in the works. This is from rotten tomato:

Move over, Marvel superheroes! Here come the toy / cartoon movies!
First "Transformers," and soon "He-Man" and "G.I. Joe." Now it\'s time for a "Thundercats" movie? According to the folks over at Warner Bros., yep, it\'s time.
First-time screenwriter Kevin Sopocy has been contracted to pen the screenplay for the CG-animated project. Apparently it\'ll be an origin story about Lion-O, Cheetarah, and the other feline-y super heroes.
Two pieces of advice: Get Christopher Walken to do the voice of Mumm-ra, and leave Snarf out completely.
More word on this and other toy-inspired movies as it arrives.

p.s. I really enjoyed the transformer movie. Very entertaining.
The newfound chicness of 80\'s nostalgia continues. I don\'t mind the cartoon/movie revivals. They can be fun if done right. And I would love to see Nintendo make some new games for the NES! How cool would that be? Even if they just redid some old games, like making Tecmo Super Bowl \'07.
The worst part of all this 80\'s hooha are the 20-somethings in mainstream bars who just want to hear Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Journey, and Motley Cru blasted as loud as possible all night. Hate that. These aren\'t even our songs, I mean, if you\'re in your twenties then you were roughly -5 to 9 years old when these songs were hits. It doesn\'t make sense. But whatever, I just stay away from mainstream bars and it\'s no prob. Ever since the night I got roofied at Pig\'s Eye Pub in Hartford and almost died, I started getting picky about where I go. It was a move for the better.
People probably said the same thing when the 70s tried to make its way back.
