• Universal Studios has just announced The Big Lebowski: Collector\'s Edition for release on October 18th.
  
  The only info for now is separate anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen editions and a retail of $19.98. A Gift Set will be available as well for $49.98.

• YES!  serious, i am a HUGE fan of this movie.  that was like... my angle in college.  i was the big lebowski guy, with my autographed picture of jeff bridges and BL poster, and i would get laid by going to parties and saying to chicks, "oh ****, you\'ve never seen the big lebowski?  seriously, we gotta go back to my place and see that movie, come on."   worked every time.

• I read somewhere that there\'s a yearly BL convention run out in Vegas.  People come dressed as characters, they run a bowling tourney, etc.

  jim, that\'s funny that you did that..some guy invited me over to watch the big lebowski but this was when i was a sophmore in high school. maybe it worked for you but he did not get laid lol
  
  being that this was my first time seeing the big lebowski, i somehow got it mixed up with the big green and was really confused that the movie was not about soccer.
