when i was in italy i ate pizza pie in every city we stopped at.... florence, venice, gravedona, la spezia, lucca, pisa.... everywhere it was pretty damn good
but i like bar pie better
Since this is prob the 10th time we\'ve done this thread, I\'ll just keep it short.
Sally\'s has the best pie. But it\'s not the best restaurant. The ordeal to get in and the cocky/rude service really hurt it.
Modern and Pepe\'s pie is 90-95% what Sally\'s is (which means it\'s still amongst the absoulte best pie on earth) and the experience is much easier/better, so I prefer to go to Modern or Pepe\'s.
BAR is my favorite overall restaurant in the world. The pie, the music, the homemade beer, the fact that it\'s built into the middle of a brewery, the waitstaff...they have everything I want.
If I could only eat apizza from one of these four places the rest of my life, I take Sally\'s.

Sallys! But for New Havens best pie I\'d have to go with Bars\' Clams Casino with whole littleneck clams...mmmm! I did however have a mindblowing pie at Ellington Pizza... Cheeseburger pizza! The sauce is ketchup & mustard... there are pickles involved! It\'s a life experience that shouldn\'t be missed, especially with a good case of the munchies!!

SER-BIZ it is! Might not be Ellington Pizza, but it\'s in Ellington, I think... I\'ll find out exactly where it comes from, a friend always orders it & picks it up when I go visit in Coventry.
