Does anybody else watch this show. if you dont it is centered around a nyc fire house, with dennis leary as he always is, the epitome of a prick. the rest of the cast is great each with their own set of odd problems. of course leary interjects his douchebagness all show long. i personally think its one of the best shows on cable and tonight is th$e season finale, i suggest everybody watches

i believe it was called "the job" as in "im on the job" which is cop speak like if a cop pulls over another cop, he might tell the officer pullin him over "im on the job" you get it, anyway i think that anything that denis does after "operation dumbo drop" has to be better that that.

its a very good show, first he has a drinking problem (i know its pretty predictable, irish guy with a drinkin prob. but hey), then he quits, now he has a painkiller problem, his son dies, and theres plenty of hot women. also one of the selling points for me was its filmed entirely in queens. unlike nypd blue or csi ny where they show clips of nyc streets then pan up to a window and once there inside its a studio in freakin la kinda takes the realness outta the show in my opinion

One of the only shows that I make a point of watching. Gut wrenching and hilarious show. Dennis Leary rocks, and if you haven\'t seen his HBO standup shows, do it!

the job was always entertaining, mainly due to Leary who\'s usually brilliant.  Although didn\'t he briefly delve into the craptastic world of reality TV or maybe it was just a spoof of reality tv (Contest Searchlight), I don\'t remember that being very good.

I LUV that show. The cast is absolutely amazing. It\'s not like every other show on TV. They have some intense serious moments but then they also have wicked funny moments as well. If you don\'t watch it, definitely start. That\'s right-I\'m being bossy.
