Really liked Black Snake Moan a lot. I was pleased that it didn\'t have a fairy tale ending (it looked like it might go that way for a bit.) Instead, the ending left me feeling uneasy and definitely suggested that their troubles were far from over.

Spun I thought was decent. It made me a bit uncomfortable at times, which can only be a good thing. By the end, however, I was ready for the movie to be over. The whole thing seemed a bit stretched out. Not a bad movie though.

Death to Smoochy was a fun watch; I dig comedies that are a little on the dark side. I thought it was great how the storyline was so outrageous but still managed to work.

I watched the movie Palindromes last night. I definitely suggest watching it unless you are really sensitive. Very well done, but seriously **** up.

I\'ll ask again, has anyone seen American Splendor? It really was outstanding and I guarantee  everyone on this board would give it two fatty thumbs up.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

saw it right after it came out on DVD, Paul Giamatti is great.  It\'s been a long time and I have a bad memory, So I\'ll have to give it another watch.

loved the cook, and some of the dialogue
The Cook: I tell ya, I remember a time when I was about... I was little, I don\'t know... 4, 5 something like that. We had this old dog that had a litter of puppies. And I walked in the bathroom one day and my Mother was standing there, kneeling down... Dog had a litter of about 8, and my Mother was bending over killing each one of these little puppies in the bathtub. I remember I said \'why?\'... She said \'Im just killing what I can\'t take care of\' - Then my momma said to me, she looked at me and she said \'I wish I could do that to you\'. - Maybe she, maybe she shoulda.

Gotta disagree with ya Drew.  BSM was pretty darn good, but it doesn\'t come close to This Is England.

It really was. Check it out. Haunting is the best word I can come up with. I watched Blind Date before going to bed to settle my mind.

Gordo, I have American Splendor on my list. Thanks. :)

So Netflix froze my account. I am assuming this is because 3 times movies have not come, and I asked for replacements. My guess is they think I am stealing movies, which I am not. Though I kind of wish I had, since they suspect me of it anyhow.

Annoying.

What a crappy service. DVDs don\'t make it to my mailbox, or don\'t make it from the mailbox back to them.

Maybe it is Nashua mail\'s fault.

Bleh.

Half-Nelson. Everyone has to see this movie. Ryan Gosling does a great job.
