The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe finally comes to the Big Screen. I love the books and I am really stoked to see this movie. I hope they do some more of the books. I can see a couple of them being combined but it would still be neat.
Probably not. I rarely go to the cinemas this day in age. To many little kids who whine,
**** and so forth and so on.

Agreed! Still, I may go and see this one, though I still haven\'t been to the latest HP yet. (Do the production/effects make it worth seeing on the big screen?)
i think this is trying too hard to be lord of the rings/harry potter, and isn\'t going to stack up to either of them... i dunno i wasn\'t thrilled when i saw the preview, but i will probably go see it, as i too grew up on these books. i dont go to the movies much, but i\'ll give this a chance. i\'m just pissed i missed the wallace and grommit movie.... it was barely out for a few weeks!
*raises hand*
Going to the midnight showing tonight if all goes well
I may be obligated to trail along to this, though it doesn\'t necessarily interest (haven\'t seen any previews to garner the interest).
Im excited to see this flick. I loved these books as a kid. I dont that it will be nearly as good as the text but its good to see something done to remember the story.
Excellent adaptation. This movie was very faithful to the book. The CG was well done and I felt they brought Narnia to life. Seeing Cair Paravel for the first time was pretty neat. The acting was decent and the dialouge was pretty much straight from the book.
What w/ The HP series and LOTR series I expect we will see a few more installments just for the $$ aspect. This IS a Disney film.
Oh and the religious undertones of the book were not as prevalent in the film for those worried about that.
