• it\'s dead for me. always been a gd girl, always will be. zappa is too weird and out there for me. i\'ve tried, but i just can\'t get into it. i love the steady mellowness of the dead. it keeps me rolling.

• the music of the dead has touched me more and in more ways than even my uncle jimmy. but, that joke was brought to you by mental damage inflicted by zappa\'s tunes. as far as musical composition and musicianship as well as the tightness and shenanigans of live performances, its all zappa.
  as far as just good ol\' fashioned jamming improvisation and jerry garcia being my favorite guitarist, it gota be the dead. plus, jerry never made fun of me for liking his music and smoking herb.
