to have so many QUALITY bands playing over 150-200 shows a year. There are the Arena(10,000+) bands(WSP, ABB, DEAD, DMB)
Small Theater Bands(2500+)(Gvt. Mule, SCI) and
the club level bands(250+) (The Breakfast, TLG, ALO, SCC, etc.)
Some of these bands are currently even moving between catagories moe. is moving from Small Theaters to Arenas @ times while UM is fast moving from clubs to Small Theatres along w/ Particle @ times. These are headlining non festival draws I\'m talking abt.
I remember when it was Grateful Dead/JGB/Bob & Rob for consistent quality jams and that was pretty much it. I mean there was other music to see but most were all one offs or annual draws not like you were able to see them over and over ya know? Man kids nowadays got it made if they are in to killer rock and roll improv that\'s for sure all these bands and many of them making it . Something to look forward to even for the vets huh? Just thinkin\' out loud.
Wow Leith, that almost brought a tear to my eye.
no offense brah, but I\'ve been seeing moe. for a while, and they\'ve sort of been stuck in the theatre stage for some time. def. no arena\'s in thier future
I do appreciate the heart of your thread though..
I can remember when I was a youngster... The Breakfast was still Psychedelic, and Cliff still owned Callahan\'s. Ahhh... to be young again. :drew:

So u missed NYE in Vegas? Cox Pavilion is considered Arena size It can fit 3,000 so they are moving past my mentioned # for small theatres
I can tell you, that although not ready for arenas, moe.\'s fanbase has grown steadily over the past few years. Hell, moe.down 2 had about 3,000 people, moe.down 5 had 7,000. They had stagnated for a while, but are growing at a slow and steady pace.
