i honestly haven\'t liked too much of their music after one hot minute..i feel like they\'ve become waaay too commercial and neglected to remain the funky raw band that they started out as...i\'m hoping this cd will be a little less radio friendly and not sound like "by the way" so much
RHCP have been around for so long and have done so much with their music, I have nothing but the highest respect for them. There was a little time in the middle that they were very commericial. Maybe, they decided to play music to make money after awhile? I\'ll be interested in hearing what this cd sounds like.
I\'ll listen to them regardless of what their status is in the music industry.

i completely agree with you. selling out is neccesary sometimes, especially when you tend to go against the grain..
People I think tend to forget that the Chili Peppers had a rough time in the mid 90\'s with losing their guitarist and almost losing the lead singer. They have been in the game for a long time, they probably started to think about their futures and how nice it would be to have money in the bank.
Just because of their repuation do you know how easy it would before them to turn their \'bank accounts\' around. Hehe
Honestly i can\'t wait to hear this album....but what i\'m more excited for is the \'Good time boys\' show coming up!!! Can\'t wait to see the boys play some old school RHCP tunes!
