my first intro to umph was anchor drops and it took a little while, but i ended up loving that album..... local band does ok i loved the first time i heard it, i really think that was a better overall sound for them
safety in numbers does not do it for me  (yet?)  just a different thing goin on there that doesnt grab me, very spacey feeling.... like they\'re moving towards being an emo-metalish-notquitejamband-progressive rock band

i\'m right there w/ you.  i try to enjoy them, but everytime BB opens his trap it tunes me right out.  this coming from someone who likes the lyrical stylings of the breakfast, moe., and the disco biscuits:gasp:
