I saw my 2nd UM show last night... was really good.  Their goofy stage antics are a bit cheesey for my taste, but they definitely rock.  While I know most people here on this site think that Jake is a total badass, I think the drummer is the star of that band... and when you add the percussion player, that is a rhythm section that\'s tough to beat.

I believe that they are all talented musicians with an education in music. The drummer I believe was at Berkeley while my friend attended it. He played bass a couple of times with the drummer for one reason or another. UM does know what they are doing.

LOL Cool Marcial, I tell people to see them live TWICE. I do this because from my own personal experiences it took me twice to really appreciate them and breakthrough any preconceived ideas I had abt them.
For me Jake is good but I actually prefer Brendan\'s playing, more fluid imo.
