Let me begin this by qualifying that I was TERRIFIED by the "loss" of Herring b4 this tour...I have now listened to most of it due to Archive and there is a brand new energy in this beast.  The addition of the violin in some songs(read:Althea) is otherworldly...and check out the arrangement of Terrapin and Mts of the Moon.  I REALLY hope that this incarnation stays together for a little while...it could get VERY interesting.  I am really trying to do Albany and def doing Wallingford...there is an outside chance at Boston(if not still sick)...hope to see some of ya\'ll there.

Larry Campbell was a genius addition to the band. When he was in Dylan\'s band w/ Charlie Sexton **** was tight. Dylan had his hands full w/ that Band!!!!

They still have lower orchestra to the right of the stage...do not think the sight lines will be too great but you would be up close...I also think that there is upper orch seats still left.

I never worry about a bad seat in the Oakdale. Almost every seat is nice, but I will be looking for a low orch seat.

the Boston show is going got be nutso! the BU fuckkks have no idea what they are in for :) after hearing about Sco, I would love to hit up Albany... a few summers back Sco and Branford Marsalis were supposed to play a two night stand in BPort but it never happened- eversince that incident the thought of Scofield playing dead tunes has haunted my existence.. Walsh- of you\'re in Boston- you got a place to crash if need be...
Not sure what is gonna transpire. Regardless, we ain\'t gonna forget the gravy.
