Get "sick" on Mon and Tues the week after and do DSO with me...LI->Providence.
Walsh, I\'m pretty sure you see more live music than any other person I know.
i\'ve actually slowed in the last few years...in \'99-\'01 I was avg about 3-4 shows a week...no exageration. God I miss the Wetlands:(
I cannot wait for NYE Phil. It is going to cap off a 3 day run for me. ALO in Santa Barbara on the 29th, TLG in S.F.on the 30th and then NYE W/ Uncle Phil and his friends!
unbelieveable show friday night:
12/02/05 (Fri) Patriot Center - Fairfax, VA

i\'m still recovering..go see them if they are nearby, guaranteed great time!! show was awesome despite the fact that the patriot center sucks.
So glad you could experience a bit of the magic Holly!
The Albnay show dismantled the framework of the space time continuum and ever so patiently and triumphantly pieced it back together in a way so strange yet so familiar. I had one of the best nights of my life in that building last night. I did not want it to end. The HIGHlights are too many to nail down but, I will say that the "Two Souls"->"Bird Song"->"Cold Rain" and the "Wheel->Eyes->Rider" had tears of joy in this wooks eyes. Maybe it was the GA floor with no seats, maybe it was the anticipation/talent of Scofield, maybe it was JER lending alittle of the X-Factor down from heaven, I am not sure...but something otherworldly went down in Albany last night that I will NEVER forget. Thank you Phil & Friends for uplifting my soul last night. I am almost worried about going to the Oakdale...could they possibly get anywhere close to that show??? I know I am going to find out;)
Who is coming with me Thursday to AC?
Can\'t f#@%n\' wait for tomorrow night!!!!!!
Wow I actually had no idea there was this much Dead Love in the Bfast Fam.
I wish I had because my first flight had me coming out on tomorrow am just to go to a Phil show. I did not think I would have anyone to go w/ that had the time.
Bummer. Have fun guys!
That\'s what happens when you assume...

Man I can\'t wait for this show tomorrow. Now that Jer is gone, Chris Robinson is really one of the only people that I care to hear sing dead songs. I have a copy of the Two Souls that he did last year @ the Warfield w/ Phil and it is amazing.

Well, I was floored once again, this band has really found their "Sound" as this tour has unfolded and it just keeps getting better abd better. The "Loser" was special and the "Brown-Eyed Women" was spot on and the "Pride" was a huge surprise. However, the HIGHlight of the 1st set was the MONSTROUS "China Cat", including a huge prankster build towards the first "China->Rider" of the tour, that was waved away by Phil...that was just mean, but worked. Anyone catch Phil tell everyone it was "OK, wait until you hear what\'s next" or something to that extent...they were dialed in last night.
I won\'t say anything about the second set at ALL. I know what looks good on papper doesn\'t always translate well, but it did last night...just go get this show and bask in the glory of Phil & Friends melting the faces of 4 or 5 thousand Heads. Utter insanity.
Great to see everyone, although I couldn\'t see very well;)
Fitz, how you feelin\' today bro? I wish I had a camera to take pics of you walkin\' back into your house...did you find your car this morning?
I am gonna grab this but I am really hoping the FOB came out well and gets circulated...the sound in that place was great last night from where he was...don\'t ask me how I ended up there by myself for a few minutes...cuz I don\'t know, I just remembered it now.
I cannot wait for February for the multi-night NYC/Philly shows...get my PHIL!!!
The last couple of times Phil has played the Oakdale, the shows have been stellar.
