Greatest band currently still touring?  I say Wilco.  I am sorry, but I have to.  I have seen them every year for the last three.  And their shows move me. literally.  like my being and soul reaches places i didn\'t think it could.     But then again, its only my opinion.

I hate topics like this because there of course isn\'t one correct answer.  .  How does one judge the "best" anyway?

Bottom line is music is not a competition.  Look at any video on youtube of someone playing guitar, drums, etc. and you see assbags making comments about this guy sucks and that is better, etc.  It\'s not what it\'s about.

i agree.  

someone\'s favorite band could be someone\'s least favorite.  its all a matter of opinion.  i hate when i post something on facebook and someone says "that bands sucks".  Had that happen recently regarding the foo fighters.

Talk about influence and grandeur and hits and epicness and everything else that goes with being the best.  All I\'m saying is maybe they are, maybe they aren\'t but they should def be in the conversation......

I think it took so long for floyd to be mentioned cuz no one really took this discussion seriously, esp since the opening post had  Billy Corrigan and whatever **** band he fronts as an option.
