Looking through my CD\'s and I can\'t believe I forgot this one

I had never seen this photo before I bought this album in 9th grade.  It influenced my thoughts on everything from war, to the human spirit.  I\'ve often thought of these monks when dealing with physical pain. To me, they have proved mind over matter is real.

A man who has seen the things I have seen,
experienced the loss and pain I have experienced,
I transcend race, hombre.

the first album that popped in my mind..
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

in the internet age you can get away with that argument. However, back in the 60\'s and earlier the cover was very important. You could\'nt listen to the album before buying it, so if your in the store with your allowence burning a hole in your pocket, the album cover is going to play a major factor in which one you buy. I\'ve had several people tell me this or similar stories.

Covers were more important in the vinyl age than they are today, but this doesn\'t change my point that albums are first and foremost for the music.  If albums were first and foremost for the cover, then people would go home and stare at the cover for hours while the record sat in a crate.  But that\'s not what happens.  People listen to the record for hours and the cover ends up in a crate.  Led Zeppelin\'s Physical Graffiti is my favorite vinyl cover.  When PB\'s self-titled comes out on vinyl, it will easily usurp Physical Graffiti as greatest vinyl cover of all time!

PB on Vinyl!?!?!  I think I need to change my pants...  :poopself:
If trees could scream do you think we would be so cavalier to cut them down? Maybe if they screamed all the time for no good reason.

Probably the worst thing about having King Kong run rampant in your town would be the huge, monster genitalia.

I wish I had a kryptonite cross, because then I could keep Dracula and Superman away.

DJ Shadow and Amon Tobin should remix every Breakfast album into instrumental breakbeats and hip-hop beats...and release them on vinyl.

A recent set list reminded me of the first album I ever purchased:
A man who has seen the things I have seen,
experienced the loss and pain I have experienced,
I transcend race, hombre.
