ISH? Like Jack Nicholson said, " you can\'t handle the truth." Phish is a shell of their former selves. 2000 was the last year you still felt Phish was creating something special even though they were walking down from the peak they climbed. Now they have created an awful album in Joy/Party Time, and just go through the motions on stage. I know the fluffers who cant handle the truth will tell me I am wrong, but I dont fault you. You have never experienced the Phish which when the history books come out will only focus on the 90s with a blurb about 2009 on. The vets that will disagree with me, you are just there for the party and to relive your youth. Nothing wrong with that, but sit here and say they are playing the best you have seen and that their new songs are great..once again you cant handle the truth.

every single person EVER IN THIS MUSIC HISTORY OF SHOWS HOPS ON THE BOAT TOO LATE.
in 1974, people bitched about not seeing pigpen and the 70-71 raw ****. in 70-71 heads bitched about not being at the acid tests.
After the GD hiatus, people were like OMG **** THE NEW DISCO DEAD and terrapin, estimated, etc.
Then in 80, people were mad they missed keith and donna shows. Brent rocked, yes, but everyone was like "Oh man **** we missed the 70s." Then the late 80s kids came in, and people called them "touchheads." These new kids missed the traveling circus of mid-80s dead, and made the scene blow up to maximum capacity, and definitely hurt the scene at times. The people who GAVE \'touch heads\' this name were kids who got on the bus in the early 80s and wanted to furthur distance themselves from newcomers. And viola! By the 90s, everyone was pissed. So then there was Phish. And I GUARANTEE PEOPLE TALKED ABOUT HOW GOOD EARLY PRE-95 PHISH WAS BEFORE THEY GOT HUGE. Then, bam.. hiatus. **** I MISSED 90s PHISH!!! EVEN THAT 98 ****!!!

how do i know this? my dad was seeing the GD in 71. My mother saw them in the disco years, and on. countless adults have talked to me about this, including a certain administrative figure at a school i go to who saw phish in the 80s.
Guess what, I missed every single year of Jerry\'s life. I missed all of 90s phish. I even missed everything up until 2009. And that goes for other bands too.
but i dont care. i got into this music as early as i could and i know what it is, and what it does. i can handle the truth , it seems like you are still mad about something.

Here\'s the thing I wonder: Are all the PT\'ers who make posts like the first post still going to shows? I\'m glad people think like the first poster does, because if that keeps them away from shows then great. Tickets are hard enough to get sometimes.
Going against the Gamehendge ticket theory, the 10/31\'s are Dog Faced boy. Not Gamehendge.
The Gamehenge theory is stupid. Why would Phish tell all those in attendance to imagine trees and mountains inside of a casino ballroom. They failed at the opportunity to present Gamehenge in the closest venue to Gamehenge ever and decide to play 2 shows that really were just Phish. Personally, I\'d like to see this band bust out Casino over 3 nights and do A.C. gangsta style. Maybe not but come on, these dudes are 45 and why should they play yesterday when they have today and tomorrow.
