Totally missed it Phish fans.

Go back to Trey\'s exit speech when he "knew" they were done.

Does anyone else find it amusing or the irony in Trey inducting Genesis into the R&R HoF?

however do you mean?

are you trying to imply that Phil Collins should be inducting Phish into the R&R Hall of Fame?

Definitely not.

I would also like to know why it is weird or ironic that trey is inducting genesis into the rock and roll hall of fame. Please do explain.

Not sure if it is weird or ironic but there may be a little irony in it.

I have read quotes from Trey that state Genesis was a big musical influence for him. Makes sense he inducted them.

Spacey- I beg of you on all that is holy, DON"T BE THAT PHISH FAN. Yeah, yeah none of us are heady enough to have recalled Trey\'s exit speech word for word, yeah yeah yeah. Trey is a Jedi. Crimson Daego. Have you seen my dogs? Nitrous tank noise. Got it. Uh huh. Yup.

At this time I humbly request you paraphrase so that I know what the **** you\'re talking about and can move on with my life.

If these are indeed correct, it seems like the Hershey show would be the most ideal for the bus trip.  Looks like all the other North East dates are either during the week or part of a 2 night run

Basically, Trey used Genesis and I believe Peter Gabriel as his guiding light as to breaking up Phish. How did Peter Gabriel know Genesis was over and done for good. That was Trey\'s reasoning.

So, I just found it interesting that in the end, Trey gets to induct Genesis into the HoF. Instead of every yahoo on this board thinking of what I say negatively like I am dissing Phish or Genesis, a band I truly do not care about, instead of seeing the situation of from another perspective.

So, maybe, this is just one of those coincidences in life or something.

Honestly, doesn\'t even matter.

Hershey is a 4 hr ride, so just on driving you figure 10 hours, then the show another 3 and lets put a 3 hr window in for pre/post show. You figure 16 hrs. I can guesstimate that it will be anywhere from $80-100/person on a 30 person bus with tip. But, thats just a guess.

I also bet that we here by end of day or week latest about tour dates.

For the record I am also fine with (prefer) doing SPAC on 6/19 (Saturday) as I have no plans to go to the Sunday show...however I also see that the B\'fast is playing some festivals this weekend, so this might be tough to pull off

I would be very surprised if those were the correct tour dates. Phish starting their tour in Chicago at toyota park? Also no alpine valley? I know this is probably not a concern for you east coasters but if phish did not play alpine this year I would not be happy.
I scratch my mind I think about life and stuff sometimes but **** ruff!

let\'s seriously start talking bus trip! saratoga > kung fu?? (p.s., let\'s also get hotel rooms near the drop off point so we can party our asses off the whole time and not have to worry about driving back afterwards. i made that mistake last year and had to limit the rage on the way back even tho i easily could have ridden that glow for hours still to go!)

I\'ve seen these dates from multiple sources at this point.  I feel like these dates are correct, however the one point of contention seems to be the Ossage Creek shows...those could potentially be Alpine Valley dates (8/14 + 8/15).

Looks like the B\'fast (or kung fu) is scheduled for a festival that weekend, no?

Crash space would def be ideal.  I too cut my partying short (4:00am?) due to driving concerns.

No Alpine = no sense. I\'ll protest with you biscuits. In the hills of East Troy, where no one will hear us bru.

Toyota Park opener seems strange as **** too. But this board has never let down on solid leaks, I trust what\'s been said but am wiggin out a bit.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash
