The fully automated hotline was busy from 1:40-2:00 but I got right through at 2PM. I had rehearsed with it for a while last night so I knew exactly what to say and when. Even at max efficiency it took me 5:24 to get to "Push 1 to purchase two 4-day passes to Phish at Red Rocks." Then I got "Please wait while we confirm your order."
OH MY GOODNESS....
....THE MOMENT OF TRUTH...
...COME ON BABY COME ON...
..."We\'re sorry, there are no tickets remaining for the quantity and event you have requested."
Oof.
I was able to try each show individually without hanging up from 2:08-2:12, tried for only one ticket per show, nothing doing, all gone. Dangerously close. I don\'t see how anyone could have possibly gotten tickets from the fully automated line; it misheard me a couple of times but overall it was a very efficient call and wasn\'t nearly fast enough for you, er, fast enough for them.
