I went to a Rush show at Great Woods two years ago and there was alot of tail-gating and drinking going on, along with some nuggage.

Went to Tool later that summer, same deal. There were cops on bikes and golf carts at the tool show, but they didn\'t harass us that bad.

Cops:"Are you doing anything you shouldn\'t be?"
Us: "No."

When i was there this past summer, there were no cops, except outside directing traffic, and they were like old as grandpas.   Inside, it was just security in yellow shirts not doing much securing.  They didn\'t even look old enough to have the job.

I haven\'t been to Greatwoods in a long time but that place has been known to have **** security in the lot for a LONG time. That was why many many folks try to park in the private lots just outside the venue. They didn\'t make a huge fuss about people pre-gaming.

Jones Beach is also a notorious spot for **** cops / rangers. It is a state park so the rangers have jurisdiction as well. Again haven\'t been there in years but they were totally out of control. They were hassling folks drinking out of cups. I mean adults, people of legal drinking age were getting harassed by the authorities.

Not to mention getting to Jones beach in June on a thursday or friday night is going to be a HUGE pain in the ass as traffic on the LIE is going to be crazy. I would say if you are planning on going to those shows take the ferry from Bridgeport or make sure to get there very very early to avoid the worst of the traffic

i put in for the first 3.

So I see the ticket requests from phish.com are open thru 1/17?  are these likely to sell out before the tix are sold to the public?  prob not, I would guess, but i have no idea what size the Phish fan base is now

I find it quite frustrating and downright disgusting that multiple online ticket brokers on eBay and the WWW already have tickets for sale for all the shows, including the reserved seating shows. Seriously, how the **** does that make sense. **** Phish and their "ticket request" bullshit. On that note, see you wherever I may be privileged enough to actually get tickets to.

If it\'s the ONE and ONLY Phish thread then it\'ll probably be closer to 2000 by the time summer tour is over.  Post-Hampton alone should be good for 200 quick posts.   I think it should def be the one and only Phish thread, who wants to navigate a different thread for each show they play?

Looking at the tour, St. Louis show is in a 5,000 seat theatre and there are no other shows within a 10-hour drive.  This will be the toughest ticket of tour by far.  Demand is going to blow away supply.  Recommend pre-odering for this one, if you actually get it you can probably trade 1 of these for 2 to any northeast show.  Or if you can\'t trade just sell it and the profit will cover buying a ticket from an agency to a northeast show with something left over.  If I get this one I will make a serious effort to go, the venue looks amazing,  but since I prob can\'t afford to go I would have to trade/sell.
