handing out promo materials at hampton???

WHY?????

no sense advertising a band that never plays the region. its like the entire southeast simply doesn\'t exist, but menomenie, wi is apparently a hotbed of jamfans...

meh, unless they\'re playing the lot, it makes ZERO SENSE to try to promo for them here. it\'d be like me going to a show in oak mountain, al and trying to hype max creek. why waste the promo materials?

well said.

DW is not that bright.

ya, because only people from VA and the south are going to get tickets.......... i\'m brighter than most people think, it just makes it easier playing stupid

I see your game, Ddubs, I catch your drift.

Let us see if what the Breakfast are like in March of next year.

I was planning on crashing with friends in DC...is this a doable distance?
definitely not. not unless you are crazy. you\'re better off sleeping in your car than driving to and from DC to stay for the night.

it\'s not bad spot to visit on the way down/back up however...

i\'m probably to stop in on my rents and take over casa de burke. i\'m sure they won\'t mind if i have a few friends over... wouldn\'t be surprised if the hot tub is open.

or seeing how the country\'s economy is in shambles, i could cash out my 401K plan and put a bunch of overpriced tix on a credit card I have no plan of paying off ever.

i think i\'ll stick w/ plan A.

They should really pounce on this Stoops-Raq connection and book a southern trip for Nov. or Dec.

That sounds like a good strategy. Raq pulled big down south, right?

I got tons of calls, emails, etc from friends all over the country who I haven\'t spoken to in years. I\'m excited, I don\'t know about all y\'all.

same here. Also, this is like the 4th time I\'ve seen kate post in the last week, destroying her average for the last several months. :yay:

Any recollection of why Bfast stopped playing the south of VA?  It\'s not even that far in comparison to a midwest/Colorado/west coast trip nor does it have to be a commitment of more than a week.  They really have no excuse not to take advantage of the idle Raq fans down there.  Since many of you are in frequent contact with the band, turn up on the heat on this idea and get it rolling.
