IS THE FUCKIN\' MAN!

So I just got finished watching a PBS special on him.
I have always loved his music and message of global peace and love.
I just had not known how integral he really was to the growth of social justice here in America.
If not for him there would not be the "We Shall Overcome" Speech of Dr. King. who happened to hear Pete sing the song and was enamored with the phrase.
He was the inspiration for pretty much the entire Folk movement that without we probably would have never heard of Bob Dylan or Jerry Garcia nor Woody Guthrie or Joan Baez etc.

He was also a leader in environmental cleanup leading the Hudson River cleanup.

He is the perfect example of if you think you are right keep up what you\'re doing and everyone else will come around.
