download is slow (i\'m doing flac), but just by reading the comments on his myspace, i can tell he used a lot of stuff he used at the SummerCamp show, which was fantastic. this **** is getting played non-stop in the car today!

Kind of what I thought. If I\'m going to listen to this kind of thing I\'d rather listen to 2 Many DJs.

psssh. anyone who says GT is "just another mashup dj" has never listened to GT. please point me in the direction of a DJ (which, by the way, by definition, GT is not) who can do the mashup thing and keep it going for 40-50+ minutes straight without getting boring. and those 40-50 minutes aren\'t like he\'s mashing up 2 songs at a time for 4-5 minute intervals. you need only to look at the Night Ripper wiki entry to know that GT is certainly not "just another mashup dj".

anyways, Feed The Animals is **** fantastic. gave it 2 full listens yesterday. it is most definitely Night Ripper II, and that is a wonderful thing. it\'s what GT does best, imo. i\'m psyched because a LOT of things from his SummerCamp set made it onto the album, so i\'ve actually been previewing some of the album for a few weeks without even knowing it. my favorite part of the SC set made it on there too (possibly my favorite part of the album) - Cassidy\'s "My Drink n My Two Step" vs. Ace Of Base\'s "All That She Wants", though i like it better on the SC set because there\'s a little reprise there.

the Feed The Animals wiki entry is already huge. wow.

it\'s absolutely insane how many songs he samples. my biggest surprise was Vanilla Ice\'s "Havin\' A Roni", which i actually recognized right away on first listen. damn.

this will be getting a LOT of play. NR2 is exactly what i wanted, and GT delivered. :thumbsup:

I said it and I have known about and listened to girl talk long before he started to blow up in the jambad/festy scene. His first two albums are so glitched out and staticy its impossible to listen to for more than five minutes. Night ripper is a a lot better though and I do enjoy listening to it. I\'m gonna peep the new one in a few and lookin forward to it.

diplo, bassnectar, glitch mob, 2 many DJ\'s, DJ Z-trip, DJ Shadow, RJD2, and dozens of other undergound hip hop DJ\'s I don\'t even know the name of. They can all throw it down, how fast they get boring depends on the DJ, the listener, the atmosphere etc. I don\'t go out of my way to see these type of acts live but I\'ve caught lots of acts as ill or iller than GT that held my interest just at random post show or other parties or festivals etc.

GT has his own style that is somewhat unique, he\'s somewhat of an innovator, he can obviously rock the party, he samples tons of songs, it\'s poppy, it\'s glitchy, it makes you want to dance, I get it......end of the day... he is just another mashup DJ.

I listening to the album Klout posted via Megaupload. I liked it fine, it\'s fun and all, but I agreed with Klout\'s statement, and thus posted accordingly.

some of the choices when electing not to pay for the download are hillarious:

I may donate later
I can\'t afford to pay
I don\'t really like Girl Talk
I don\'t believe in paying for music
I have already purchased this album
I don\'t value music made from sampling
I am part of the press, radio, or music industry

the download was a pain in the balls to figure out. What I finally got was there were tons of seperate windows it keeps opening up on you, but go back to the first one. The first window will have the download link in it.

if you\'re paying. Don\'t know how it works for those of you in the music industry who don\'t value music made from sampling.

I\'ve listened 2.5 times since yesterday when I got it. loveit.

I like it a lot. I think its actually better than NR.

Better choice of classics and a better job of melding them with the raps. so many cool combinations in there.
