There is a necklace with a jewel on it and the necklace itself is heart-shaped.  Jewel and Heart.  The mailman is Postal Service.  A bit of a stretch, the three girls running away from the rolling stone are the Treacherous Three.  The Subway could reference Train but I\'m not adding it.

um... did you even look at the picture I posted? I blew up the missing sections from heavy.com using the magnifying glass and added them to the other picture to make one large jpg.

adding the vines, television, lemonheads, Chevelle, corner shop, the beach boys, crowded house,  Lost prophets or manic street preachers (or both but counted as 1), Men at work/The Carpenters (or both, counted as 1), the butthole surfers/the beach boys (or both, counted as 1).

thats 73 or 76 depending on your counting the last 3.

Don\'t forget to add Television. Also, looks like a picture of a Madonna next to the Pet Shop. I also have my suspicions about the purple building - it\'s waaay out of place so would seem to suggest something. Then again, the competition says 74 bands so then we\'d have more???

If that poster represents Madonna, then you need to remove my contribution of Jesus and Mary Chain (since that poster was my source).  Madonna is definitely the better choice.

There are four of them, they are funky, and theres an un-funky guy in the middle of them.  Three people running from a huge boulder about to crush them are in a very treacherous situation, hence Treacherous Three.  I think the surfer dudes are the Beach Boys.  The Breakfast does not seem to have made the cut.  The Screaming Cheetah Wheelies are also not on the poster.

I will say though, that having two hip-hop groups from the early 80\'s (Treacherous 3 and Funky 4 + 1 More) seems a bit unlikely.  Every band is pop or rock, and most bands are from mid eighties or later.  The only bands older than that are all super-obvious all-time rock bands like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and the Eagles.
