Caught em live a ton.. still got the love, just am in a different realm of life, which means less and less live music... anyways, these d00ds have a residency at The Whitney Museum, every Friday in August.. fo fr33! guests will include, mr. rourke:dj:, dj logic, cyro baptista, and others...

let\'s do it, w/ a trip to the dogfish/eataly bar too if possible!
Most person\'s complaints about their live setting, is that at times they can get very spacey/out there, but sheesh this is considered jazz music, correct? Besides all that, the three intertwine, weave, groove, funk, and mesh so well, that I can definitely deal with a few weird feelings-(i.e. gd drums>space) I\'ve seen them all over the place from an opera house in Poughkeepsie, to one of the gyms at uvm. I haven\'t seen em in years, but I always laughed at the crowd diversity, where smelly w00ks may come face to face with an older, very, respectful, quieter, more standard jazz fan base. First time was on a rotating stage at the melody tent out on the Cape in the summer of 2000, lolz. With the flecktones tab00t! looks like short performance times in august, but a lot will occur, for sure...
The first week with Scofield is obviously the night to hit...
that said, I doubt you\'ll find me in NYC any time soon
Mr Rourke is a good friend and a nutty good DJ, I\'ll be there.

Oh. Hm. OK, possible rescheduling.
And yeah, Sco is great, but I\'ve seen him plenty of times already.

we could. but with four fridays of mmw, i\'d rather separate those two nights. plenty of time to figure this one out. may have to schedule around a FABO as well
