Timbaland probably produced much of it.  I hear that Rick Rubin produced something off of it as well.  Rubin has also produced some of Cash\'s stuff, so that may be the link there.
This isn\'t who it would be if it wasn\'t who it is.

Rubin produced the last five Johnny Cash albums (not counting the box set of unreleased stuff, and the bonus disc from the box set of all hymns) which IMHO are some of the best **** of his entire career.

I saw the video on youtube... it\'s really vivid & there are so many awesome shots!  Personally, I don\'t really like the song, though -- he\'s got so many better tunes/lyrics than this one.  Kinda weak, imho.

Newest Johnny Cash collection arrives in stores March 6th on Columbia/Legacy!

“I am thrilled that recordings of some of Johnny’s favorite Gospel songs have been put together in a new CD.  Johnny and June both loved to sing those old songs, which expressed so well the deep personal faith which was very important in their lives, and which has been so often overlooked in stories about them.”

—BILLY GRAHAM

He was a first generation Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, and the
youngest living artist ever inducted into the Country Music Association Hall Of Fame – yet no music ever meant more to Johnny Cash for his entire life and recording career than the gospel upon which he was raised.

For the first time in the digital era, a single CD – containing 24 tracks (three of which are previously unreleased) and over 67 minutes of music – is devoted entirely to the music that was nearest and dearest to

Johnny Cash’s heart, the sanctified hymns and traditional folk spirituals, contemporary church ballads, and evangelical evergreens that were the cornerstone of every show he ever performed, and nearly every album he ever recorded.  Johnny Cash Ultimate Gospel contains over 67 minutes of music, spanning from 1957 to 1981 with 8 tracks with the Carter Family!  This is the most in-depth single CD collection of Johnny\'s Hymns, Spirituals, & Traditional Songs. Cash – Ultimate Gospel will arrive in stores March 6th on Columbia/Legacy.

Some of the featured titles are: “Daddy Sang Bass,” “The Preacher Said ‘Jesus Said’” with Rev. Billy Graham, “Far Side Banks Of Jordan” with June Carter Cash, “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,” “The Great Speckle Bird,” “How Great Thou Art,” “Were You There (When They Crucified My Lord),” “(There’ll Be) Peace In The Valley,” “When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder,” “In The Sweet By And By,” “Amazing Grace,”“Children Go Where I Send Thee,” and more!
