• Hey guys.  I spent the last several days compiling a mix of Jimmy Stewarts by Umphrey\'s. I think it came out pretty good, aside from a few fade errors.  I\'m not sure if the tracklisting came out when I compressed it, so here it is anyways.

• i\'m a little lost.... are these only diff live versions of the song \'jimmy stewart\'? and if so, whats with the track listing.  maybe i don\'t get it cuz i\'m not an umphreak, but please elaborate.

• A "Jimmy Stewart" is what Umphrey\'s label an improvised jam of a song. They call it a "Jimmy Stewart" instead of , let\'s say, "Nothing Two Fancy", because the improvised section is drastically different from the song\'s theme. It\'s usually built on a riff/theme/chord progression.  Most of them fall extremely short IMO. It usually takes them a long time to find an interesting chord progression, and then instead of building on that, they usually switch to something different.   I merely took these improvised pieces and gave them different names. Regardless, you should download it.

• I\'m honored to be dubbed Stinkey Weaselteets.   I figured the titles would be a bit more creative than "Jimmy Stewart" 9/17/06 etc.
