Fellas, this is ludicrous. Lets think reasonable and logical here.

Neither is a Sir Spacey Spaceman I on air guitar.

There, settled, love it or leave it, LIVE WITH IT.

Thanks
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

I heard he was a pretty decent guitar player.
he\'s no Palmeri

now that\'s just silly
i consider hendrix more of an innovator of sound and structure than a powerhouse technician.
Dude you ever see video of the man PLAYING?
Insane! What do you mean he\'s not a powerhouse technician? He EXUDED energy while playing!!!
showmanship and exuding energy is a huge part of the game for bluesmen.

but there\'s a big difference between energy and technical ability.  Hendrix had good ability and huge energy.  There\'s artists out there that have amazing off the charts ability and zero energy.  I went to a guitar workshop once up at UConn so some of the most amazing technicans ever play.  Joe Pass, and a handful of clasisical players.  But they were yawners.

Ever see Kelley Joe Phelps play.  Amazing technician, never leaves his chair but he\'s almost busting at the seams from his energy.

I sit corrected, but I still think he had the technical chops. I have gone through this myself on just how good was Jimi. Actually I wrote a paper in college defending that he was overrated. I did get an A btw. I have decided now 10 years later i was full of **** for the most part.lol
I will check out Kelley Joe Phelps though thanx for the tip!

Lead Me On = one of his older CD\'s, but a good place to start.  "Fare Thee Well" can bring you to tears.  His music has changed a bit since that album.  I\'ve gotten to see him twice, once @ Acoustic Cafe, and once down in Charlotte, NC - he blew me away both times.  Got to meet him in Charlotte.
